Airbnb will now show users the total cost of their stay right away

Airbnb is simplifying the booking process by finally displaying total costs upfront, including all fees, after years of user complaints. The new feature shows prices before taxes by default across its platform globally, with a clear label indicating "Prices include all fees." Tested since 2019 in select regions and expanded to the U.S. and 200 countries in 2022, it now includes price filters, maps, and listing pages. Hosts also gain tools to compare pricing and view guest payments pre-tax, helping them adjust rates accordingly.
